Nigerians have shown their commitment to democracy and are determined to entrench its culture. How 24yr old accountant was murdered by ritualists in Port Harcourt

24 year old Anita Oluchi Okore, a graduate of Banking and Finance from Abia state University (pictured above) was murdered a few weeks ago in Port Harcourt by men believed to be ritualists. According to a family member, Anita, who is based in Ebonyi, had gone to see her older sister in Port Harcourt when she unfortunately ran into these men. Anita had called her dad to tell him she was about to enter a bus that will take her from the park to her sister's house. She later called her dad, informing him that she was the only woman in the bus with three men and they were taking her somewhere other than her destination. [NEWS] 7 year old boy eaten alive by a crocodile in Mexico while his father helplessly watches

7 year old Manuel Abraham had been playing with a balloon in the Barra Santa Ana estuary, Mexico, when it landed on the river bank. He walked to the bank to pick the ball, as he bent down to get the ball, a crocodile leaped from the river, locked its jaws on Manuel's head and dragged him underneath the river while his Dad watched in horror.

400Level ACE, Ondo State slums and died during excursion

The Minister of Information, Patricia Akwashiki, says all handover notes being prepared by various ministries, agencies and department will be handed over to President elect, Gen Buhari immediately after his tour of the Presidential Villa which is to be conducted by President Jonathan and his vice, Namadi Sambo on May 28th. Also on the tour will be the Vice President elect, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

Two Nigerians sent to 12 years in prison in Vietnam for email fraud



A Vietnamese court has sentenced two Nigerian men, Christian Nnadike, 34, and Collins Deke, 37, (pictured above) to 12 years each in a Vietnam prison for hacking into emails of local companies, contact the company's foreign partners and swindle them of their money.

The men along with a Vietnamese female accomplice, Le Thi Kim Quyen, 35, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison and another Nigerian, de facto husband of the Vietnamese lady, Mark Mamado Abdallah, 39, who is currently at large, ran a scamming syndicate in Vietnam.

In a 92 page document, Kashamu had previously explained that even though he was incarcerated in Brixton Prisons in London between 1998 and January 10, 2013, Judge Tim Workman had verified that the allegations against him in the US was a case of mistaken identity and that the Judge had also found out that the person the DEA in the US wanted for smuggling drugs into the US was his brother, Alhaji Adewale Adeshina Kasamu, who looked a lot like him. He said when that was verified, he was released from prison and he returned to Nigeria to start a business.

26yr old pregnant woman shot dead during OPC/oil bunkers crossfire in Ogun

Oluwadamilola Fajana, a 26 year old pregnant law graduate of the Ekiti state University was killed by a stray bullet during a crossfire between OPC members and oil bunkers in Arepo Ogun state on April 29th. Damilola who was married and was 6 months pregnant, was on her way back from work when she drove into the crossfire and was killed by a stray bullet.
