What security agencies allegedly did in Rivers State during the election - Deji Adeyanju
Activist, Deji Adeyanju who recently got released from jail after spending 78 days behind bars has shared photo that shows security agencies allegedly aiding thugs as they moved ballot boxes away from a polling unit.

An election observer shot dead by a Police officer in Enugu State
A yet-to-be identified election observer has reportedly been shot dead by a police officer in Umuida community, Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze north local government area of Enugu state. The Cable reports that the observer was shot in the head by the police officer stationed close to the residence of Ayogu Eze, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Police arrest man who killed his father's tenant in a brutal attack
The man accused of killing his tenant in a brutal attack at the Ashanti Regional community of Gromesa in the newly created Adansi-Akrofuom District, has been arrested at his hideout in Accra.
Abraham Mantey was alleged to have cut the throat of his father's tenant, Eric Tetteh, leading to victim's untimely death; throwing the Gromesa community into a state of shock last Sunday.
The deceased, Eric Tetteh, a farmer, had his throat slit in the presence of his wife, Evelyn Dansowaa, around 7:00 pm for refusing to vacate his room.

Lagos State warns Civil Servants 'No public holiday on Friday'

Two men arrested with 14 sacks containing fake ballot papers in Kano
The Kano Police Command says it has arrested two suspects in possession of 14 bags of fake ballot papers in Kano state.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the suspects were arrested with the fake ballot papers around Metro Police Area Command on Wednesday night, February 13th.

Nigerian Air Force begins airlift of the 2019 election materials for INEC
The Nigerian Air Force says it has started the airlift of election materials for the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).
