2 women arrested for selling the 2-day-old baby for N300k in Enugu State

News just got to us that two women, Kate Ugwu and Ekwutosi Onodu, had been arrested by the Central Neighborhood Watch in Igbo-eze LGA of Enugu State, for allegedly selling a 2-day-old baby, Toochi.

According to Kate, Onodu contacted her to help her niece, as they do not need the baby in their family because her 13-year-old sister is too young to be a mother.

Kate said: “So I contacted a friend of mine in Rivers State who promised to pay the sum of N300k and I delivered the package to him already.“

Unknown man plunges to his death in Ibadan

A bizzare incident happened in Ibadan, Oyo state earlier today. An unknown man left climbed a mast and then jumped to his death.

According to eyewitnesses, he climbed the mast so far before help could get to him. His remains has been removed from the scene and deposited in the morgue.

Chaos at Dunamis church as traders revolt after their goods were burnt down

There was chaos at Dunnamis Church in Abuja as traders who conduct business around the church's surroundings arrived early in the morning to find their wares have been burnt.

According to the protesting traders, they were warned a day before that their goods would be burnt if they did not move.

Man caught in a hotel while attempting to rape a 15year old girl in Egbeda, Lagos State

Residents of Egbeda, Lagos state, today apprehended a man who tried to sexually assault a lady in a hotel.

Facebook user, Kathlyn Eyitemi, who shared the story online, said according to the report she got, the victim was running from abuse at her sister's and she met the suspect who offered to assist her. He took her to a hotel and tried having sex with her. It was when she was struggling with him that the guests in the hotel came out and rescued her.
