
At the outset of his administration, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu promised Lagosians that he would revamp the state’s entire infrastructure, rejuvenate the economy and enthrone a mega city-state that is clean and where the pace of life would be smooth and seamless among other lofty plans. His developmental agenda christened T.H.E.M.E.S (Traffic Management and Transportation; Health and Environment; Education and Technology; Making Lagos a 21st Century State; Security and Governance) seemed starry-eyed, but Sanwo-Olu affirmed that he was committed to achieving them.
