Photos: Teenager pulled from rubble after 5 days of Nepal Earthquake

15 year old Pemba was pulled out alive after five days under the rubble. He was in a guest house that collapsed during the earthquake in Nepal. He said he drank water dripping from wet clothes to survive and prayed for people to find him. There were still people shouting from under the rubble where Pemba was found but rescue workers have not been able to get to them.

3 people reportedly arrested for the murder of Emmanuel Sithole

South African police claim they've arrested 3 of the men who attacked Mozambican man Emmanuel Sithole on the streets of Alexandra on Saturday April 18th. He later died in hospital
“The suspects were arrested in Alexandra (on Sunday evening) with help from the members of the community. Several exhibits that may be used as evidence were seized during the arrests” Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said.

Xenophobia: 6,000 Nigerians will lose their jobs if MTN leaves Nigeria

MTN Nigeria says about 6,000 Nigerians will lose their jobs if MTN is made to leave Nigeria. Head of Communications MTN, Mr Wale Goodluck said this while reacting to calls by a protest group in Edo state yesterday that the telecommunications offices in Nigeria will be shut and their installations attacked if the xenophobic attacks in South Africa continues.

Mr Goodluck said there are only 12 expatriates working for the company in Nigeria compared to a workforce of 6,000 Nigerians.

I will resume search for oil along the Lake Chad Basin - Buhari

President-elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari says he will resume vigorous search for oil along the Chad Basin in parts of Borno State and other parts of the Northeast region once he is sworn in as President come May 29th. According to KSM news, Buhari said this while receiving Borno state Governor Kashim Shettima and Traditional Rulers and Elders from Borno state who came to Kaduna to pay him a congratulatory visit on Sunday April 19th.

3year old Oluwabunmi kidnapped in Surulere has been found in Ogun State

 
Little Oluwabunmi Ajelerowho was kidnapped from her church, Surulere Baptist Church Lagos on Sunday April 19th has been found in Abeokuta, Ogun state. She was found yesterday April 20th and is now back safe with her family.
 
The girl was kidnapped by two men who rode on a motorcycle and pretended to be worshipers in the church. They lured the little girl with Gala as she played with her mates in the church compound while her parents were in the church worshiping. The kidnappers came into the church through the main entrance but made away with the little girl through the church's back gate.

Military to liberate Sambisa Forest before May 29th - NSA Dasuki

The National Security Adviser (NSA) retired Col. Sambo Dasuki has given assurance that the Federal Government will liberate Sambisa forest from Boko Haram before the May 29th Presidential handover date.

Speaking to PRNigeria, a media agency that distributes press releases on behalf of security agencies, Col Dasuki said the Federal Government was making every effort to ensure that the missing Chibok girls along with every other Nigerians abducted by Boko Haram members are rescued.
