2 women arrested for selling the 2-day-old baby for N300k in Enugu State

News just got to us that two women, Kate Ugwu and Ekwutosi Onodu, had been arrested by the Central Neighborhood Watch in Igbo-eze LGA of Enugu State, for allegedly selling a 2-day-old baby, Toochi.

According to Kate, Onodu contacted her to help her niece, as they do not need the baby in their family because her 13-year-old sister is too young to be a mother.

Kate said: “So I contacted a friend of mine in Rivers State who promised to pay the sum of N300k and I delivered the package to him already.“

Man caught in a hotel while attempting to rape a 15year old girl in Egbeda, Lagos State

Residents of Egbeda, Lagos state, today apprehended a man who tried to sexually assault a lady in a hotel.

Facebook user, Kathlyn Eyitemi, who shared the story online, said according to the report she got, the victim was running from abuse at her sister's and she met the suspect who offered to assist her. He took her to a hotel and tried having sex with her. It was when she was struggling with him that the guests in the hotel came out and rescued her.

Young lady goes missing after traveling to Abeokuta to meet a friend she met online

A young lady has gone missing after travelling to Abeokuta to meet a guy she met online. To make matters worse, the man she claims she was going to visit has denied knowledge of her or her whereabouts.

The lady, named Debby, told her friends that she was going to visit a man named Ayo. She gave them his name and phone number and informed them that she met him online. She asked that if they do not hear from her, they should contact him.

The woman has not been heard from since she left for the man's house and her friends have contacted Ayo as she instructed. But Ayo has denied knowledge of the woman and proceeded to block all the woman's friends.

Thugs attack polling center, set electoral materials ablaze in Benue

The supplementary election in Azendeshi ward in Chito town of Benue state was disrupted as thugs attacked electoral officers and destroyed the electoral materials in the area. Chito town is the headquarters of Azendeshi ward with 13,000 voting population.

The Federal High court in Yenogoa, Bayelsa state yesterday March 22nd sentenced 42 year old Ogho-Oghene Stephen Akpata to death by hanging for stabbing his wife of just one month, Oyinye Faustina Eze, to death at their home in the Kpansia area of Yenagoa in August 2017.
