Two businessmen remanded over the death of a woman in Benue State

 

A Makurdi Chief Magistrate Court on Wednesday July 5, ordered the remand of Terkimbi Mkpen and Terseer Tyovenda, two businessmen accused of killing a yet-to-be-identified woman whose corpse was dumped in a pit. The defendants, both residents of Gboko, were charged with criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.

32-year old man who raped 3-year old girl remanded by court in Ondo state

A Family Court sitting at Oke-Eda, in Akure, Ondo State has ordered the remand of a 32-year-old man, Daniel Udoh at Olokuta Correctional Centre over sexual abuse of a 3-year-old girl. Udoh, who resides at 5, Alayere Community, Oda Road area of Akure was charged on one count for sexual abuse. 

Prosecuting police officer, Martins Olowofeso, told the court that the defendant committed the offences at 5pm, on June 12, 2023. He alleged that Udoh sexually abused the 3-year-old minor in his apartment.
