When he called the police to complain about the offer, the masseuse returned his cash and he left the building.
A police spokesman confirmed that they had received a call from the Oxford Road area shortly before 2pm on Thursday afternoon. Officers were not sent to investigate the report and no-one has been arrested.
Officers tweeted about the incident: “Strange job yesterday. A male went for a massage and was offended when offered sex. He demanded money back. Didn’t want cops to go to his house though.”
