confirmed by Kefas Sule, spokesperson to the Acting Taraba State Governor Garba Umar. He said further comments will be made after the deceased's doctors' reports.

Last month, Mr. Tsokwa escaped death when his convoy was attacked. Mr. Tsokwa supported the Acting Governor, who is also the Deputy Governor, Umar Garba, in the ongoing battle for the control of the state. He was among those lawmakers who insisted that Governor Suntai could not resume work after his foreign medical treatment because of his frail state of health.

Tsokwa, was appointed Speaker after the former one, Mr. Isa Ajiya, was impeached. He left a wife and four children. May his soul rest in peace.
