Price of fuel will inflate to N700 per liter in the month of July - Marketers

 


The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria has projected that the pump price of petrol could rise above N700 per litre in some states in the country starting from July.

32-year old man who raped 3-year old girl remanded by court in Ondo state


A Family Court sitting at Oke-Eda, in Akure, Ondo State has ordered the remand of a 32-year-old man, Daniel Udoh at Olokuta Correctional Centre over sexual abuse of a 3-year-old girl. Udoh, who resides at 5, Alayere Community, Oda Road area of Akure was charged on one count for sexual abuse. 

Prosecuting police officer, Martins Olowofeso, told the court that the defendant committed the offences at 5pm, on June 12, 2023. He alleged that Udoh sexually abused the 3-year-old minor in his apartment.

Federal Govt declares Wednesday and Thursday Public Holidays to celebrate Salah

New Police Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun has vowed to make community policing work.

The new police boss assumed office at the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, June 21 taking over the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force from retired IGP Usman Baba.

 Former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has stirred a barrage of reactions on social media after sharing a video clip of himself flaunting guns and threatening the Igbo-speaking people in Nigeria.
