The police in Bayelsa state have arrested a man from Oluasiri town in Nembe, Bayelsa State, for allegedly shooting his girlfriend dead last night Sunday, April 14th.
Facebook user Igbogi who shared the story and pictures online, said the man killed his girlfriend over suspicion that she was cheating on him.
According to Igbogi, the man pointed a gun at his girlfriend while interrogating her over the
alleged affair with a man she was sighted with. He fired a shot and the girl died instantly. It is however not clear where the suspect got the gun from.
